While the start of the decade saw the ending of an era as the 2010 squad failed to make the WPIAL playoffs for the first time in over a decade, the conclusion saw an upswing as former CV standout Garrett MacKenzie took over the reigns as head coach of the program recruiting help from several familiar faces including brothers Travis and Derek as well as Adam Gazda. In 2016, Coach MacKenzie guided the Colts to their first WPIAL title since his squad did it in 2001. As an encore in 2017, the Colts secured their first section title since 2008. The team closed out the decade with four consecutive playoff appearances.
